Jussi
Paavola has been playing since he was 15, when in 1996 he
got his first alto saxophone. He got interested in playing
the sax after listening to what he would later call his
first role model, Maceo Parker, playing in the bands of
James Brown and Parliament-Funkadelic.
Heikki was practically predetermined to join the world of
music, being born and brought up in all-musician family.
First serious contact with music was under eye of one of
the most famous classical music teachers in Finland, Csaba
Szilway, playing cello when 5 years old. He got encouraged
to pick up the trombone at the age of 11 and joining big
band summercamp sprang up his interest in jazz.
Janne was born and raised in the town of Ilmajoki near the
west coast of Finland. He started playing the trumpet during
his early childhood from a classical basis. After awhile,
he got noticed by other musicians around and soon found
himself playing in various local groups. As the years went
by, and his skills developed, he came to the point were
he put his main focus on music.
